Why do people listen to bands like these?

I was browsing WinAmp music and saw they had an interview with the guys from Hawthrone Heights, and I thought I would listen to it for a good laugh, see if they're as pathetic as their "music".

One of the questions the interviewer asked them was "what makes your band unique?" The guys literally responded by saying: "We have three guitarist, that sets us apart from alot of screamo bands, and most bands in general. It also lets us have a more live sound."

That is an actual quote.

Hey, this album has many good qualities, for instance I recently had my feet surgically removed without anesthesia and the surgeon was kind enough to play this album during the operation. My ears bled so much I barely noticed my feet being hacked off, thanks Hawthorne Heights!

haha even though im a hawthorne heights fan i found that funny. the album is good...but if you liseten to it more then like once a week it gets old. they need to make more of a variety like the used or underoath and blend diffrent types of music. and jt sucks live. he can work on his voice. i still like them though.



i dont listen to classic rock but ac/dc is not one of the best bands of all time. they suck in my opinion. but metallica on the other hand...

As long as people keep saying this album rates higher than a 2 this thread will reach nothing less than epic proportions, though I'm sure we're all two HH fans away from starting a lynch mob, and remember kids "Because they kick ass!" isn't the most valid, articulate, or intelligent way to get people to consider your opinion to be worth more than a garbage bag filled with ..... well, use your imagination ( if anyone wants to know how I would have finished that sentence, just ask, or post the way you would have. well well... what do we have here? hmm... just about the SHITTIEST music ever created that's what. I'll tell you something, I' not afraid to admit that I like FOB and was seeing them live and just what had to ruin my perfect night at the FOB concert... HH in their ver presence, sucking about as hard as possible. I wanted to kill myself after hearing this crap. Take my advice. DON'T EVER BUY THIS. ]



And another funny story, agirl in my class is obsessed with HH and I tried to convince her that they sucked balls. Then I told her to go listen to good music like Nirvana and she says "Who's Nirvana?" I cryed... this was a time to forget...
