"Nah I still thought it was their best even after DSS came out."
Blasphemy ;) Also I didn't like Unraveling at the start but over time I found it amazing so I love the shit out of it, got to love the stomping riff at the start *CHANK CHANK CHANK* Still weakest on the EP though.
the dynamics come out from this. You can't hear any on the original because it's soaked in mud. lol [2]

I won't even try to describe how powerful Ware, Yami Tote is. First few times I listened to this album I found it hard to believe that any song could surpass Vinushka for me, but I was wrong. It's easily one of my favorite songs ever. I mean, so is Vinushka, but that chorus of Ware, Yami Tote is just... unreal.

Honestly, I don't think there is a favourite track on here. They're all equally amazing.

Vinushka is honestly one of the weakest here despite still tearing face. Ware, Beezlebub, Diabolos, Macabre 2013 edition, Mazohyst and Akuro no Oka all surpass it imo. If I had to pick a favourite, it's Doukoku to Sarinu. So incredibly composed it goes through the motions of a 10-15 minute epic all in 4-5 minutes seemlessly.

Vinushka is one of my favourites here. As for least favourites, no clue.

Vinushka is amazing, but I think I'd pick Diabolos over it tbh. Only because Diabolos has such satisfying build ups and bring downs.

Oh, I'd definitely pick Diabolos over it.

Vinushka is more emotional but for pure composition, atmosphere and performance Diabolos wins. Plus nothing is more awesome than the band chanting SARCRIFICE! then reaching the climax.

Vinushka is the most diverse on here; Ware Yami Tote, on the other hand, is extremely well fleshed out. These two are my favorites, the other songs are all about equally amazing, though. I wouldn't say that there's a song that's worse than most of the others. Reiketsu Nariseba is arguably more one-sided than the rest (Edit: somehow forgot about Glass Skin, that one too), but I think the album as a whole profits by that, since it's a total demolition right before the beauty of Ware Yami Tote. It's all on the right spot.

It doesn't get a whole lot of recognition, but Stuck Man's actually one of my personal favorite tracks. Toshiya's bass work most certainly makes that song.

Stuck Man always reminds me of Mr Bungle. It's the most whimsical for sure.

Stuck Man's main riff is so sick

So... I was jamming "Stuck Man" to remember how fine it is. Ended up listening to whole album again as it's been a while and... I did say at one point I like Arche the most, very closely followed by DSS, then extremely closely this, but now I feel they're all equally incredible in their own ways, so a 5 for this is in order. Farewell, self-imposed two 5's per band rule...

Hahahah finally cracked, if there's an album to do that on then this is one of them.

Yeah, man, managed to keep the rule for more than 3 years and a half. Would've been less if I had jammed this more before. DSS and Arche were bumps from 4.5 too, but when that happened they already had more plays than this, curiously.

"Ware, Yami Tote..." brings the feels and unfeigned acoustic guitars.

Kyo's vocals bring the chills on that track.

Easily one of my favourite vocal performances ever.

And that only has his cleans. I'd easily pick a track where he showcases his harsh vocals as another favourite performance.
