Strangely enough I've never been able to fully get into this one, despite Oh! Calcutta! being a hard 5 for me and also loving the band's last two albums

If I'm understanding the album correctly, it's about the band's personal life experiences, told as a metaphor of an early 1900s circus troupe.
Either way, this rocks and I love the band to drunken death.
