Love the summary; as for the review, it answered everything I needed answered. I've loved these guys since The Fall of Ideals, but what I heard from this just screamed mediocre, and this review put the final nail in the coffin for me. Unfortunate, really.

This is a pretty piss poor album. Just saw them live with Dethklok and Machine Head and they were much heavier and energetic.

BTW, Deftones aren't metal and they suck.

Tried real hard to like this album. I usually love cleans and FWAM was sick, but this is extremely disappointing after giving it a couple weeks to sink in. No song has stuck. Originally loved the title track, but the verses are too weak to keep listening to it.
