only just realised that that "tell me tom / where have all the kids from the corners gone?" line is a reference to the song "all in doors" by sweet teens; i'ma fuckin idgit cuz i've been listening to both records for years but somehow never put two and two together; you should totally check out sweet teens for awesome aussie folk punk

I've decided that this is my favorite Smith Street album.
Stay Young is brilliant.

"You've changed and outgrown, THAT'S FINE ILL STAY YOUNG"

I didn't mean that last post to be directed at you, haha.
I've been really busy. I was living in Germany for the first half of this year and I spent the second half recording a bunch of music. It's been the best and worst year of my life, but I have high hopes for the future. Hopefully I'll be around more often starting now.
How have you been?
|
| |
Yeah, I get that.
Things will get better. Albums like this make that a promise. :]
BUT WHO NEEDS THAT WHEN YOU'VE GOT NOTHING BUT YOUR RECORDS AND SOME CLOTHES?
