i find btbam boring, doesn't mean I hate em because it's cool. play me Selkies, Prequel or Mordecai, and I'll jam to em anyday. play me colors from front to back and I'll fall asleep. No need to get defensive if somebody says they're boring.

Coherency is subjective just like every other part of music. Honestly, masturbating for 20 minutes without results would be better than listening to swim to the moon to me. I love the first few releases from these guys, and I still jam to select cuts from Colors on occasion but TGM was just scattered to me, and Parallax I was so pompous and ridiculous; I literally laughed the first time I listened to it just from how ridiculous it was. I can still enjoy listening to all the stuff going on but to me their songwriting was strongest on TSC and (most of) Alaska.
