When this album crests into those slow, apocalyptic riffs like in 'Drowning By Wing Beats', it's like the rest of the world doesn't even exist for a few seconds.

This is very good. Fans of Isis and black metal should dig this a lot. This is not your average post-something metal, the guys had a clear idea here and are really good with their instruments. From the opening assault to the doom-riffed parts, this worth a time spent. I like the production here and the vocal is proper german black-metal screams, just like in Lunar Aurora.
