IV is a classic but even a classic can be run into the ground. We had a jukebox in our cafeteria when I was in Junior High and IV was played constantly every day for two fucking years. I love the album and still listen to it from time to time but I get more enjoyment out of the other albums at this point.

I've always found IV slightly overrated. Black Dog, Rock and Roll, Stairway and Levee are all classics but I find most of the remaining tracks to be a lot weaker.

None of them are bad by any means they just don't quite live up to the 4 classics imo. The album is still a 4.5 for me.

Close enough, I always forgive a .5 variance in either direction. ;-)
