Phrasing is just plain bad often. Gang vocals are so cringey as well. Gay as fuck, never sound good.

This album has grown on me a little but it's a quite underwhelming to say the least. DSHS can do much much better.
Having said that there are a couple of gems 'Time & pressure' and the opening track 'No remorse, no regrets' are up to their usual high standard and among the best this band has put out thus far. I also like the chilled out 'Salvation lies within' a nice surprise and one that reminds me of Underoath's calmer moments.

Definitely a 'grower' album. Changed my rating to a 4. A rather excellent album really, as with previous DSHS releases I think its better listened to in its entirety, not just a track here and there (although No remorse and Time & pressure get repeated plays with me!)
I still love 'A fragile Hope' more than anything by these guys but I'm growing to appreciate the uplifting intensity of this new one. Good work DSHS!

The best 2 are easily Time And Pressure and End Of Days for me. Seriously the last 5 or so minutes of End Of Days is the best thing i've ever heard. Crank the volume as high as you can and listen to it. Every song on this is great though. It Rains Down and The Waves And The Seas are also up there.
