The new Anco never had hype. It had burritos.

I think there should be a new Taco Bell limited edition mega sized burrito called The Centipede Hurts.

Well shit this is gooooood. Much different feeling than Veck, which was great but difficult as hell.

Ya, I'd say this is definitely more accessible. Smithsonian, I'd start at Yellow House and then go chronological. Their progression from album to album has been great.

Loved Vecketamist and this is growing on me massively.
I can't really judge it completely on a couple of weeks of listens though; there are songs on Vecketamist I didn't like for ages but are now my favourites (like 'Ready, Able'). I'll give it a couple of months before I decide which I like most.

Articulate isn't it? I think it is intensely more sophisticated compared to Veck, musically and atmospherically.

I always think it goes to the acoustic section in Sleeping Ute too quickly

Album of the year so far. I think "Yet Again" is the most effortlessly catchy song I've ever heard. "Sleeping Ute" reminds me of Jeff Buckley's best work. I love the way Droste and Rossen's voices sound together and Bear must be amongst the best drummers in indie music. Other highlights are "Speak in Rounds", "Half-Gate" and "Sun in Your Eyes".
