Started to listen to this, sounds like a fine crossing between RATM, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots and Jethro Tull.
;edit: this also seems to have a hint of Opeth to it.

Strange comparrison. I can understand the Jethro Tull bit obviously but I definitely don't hear RATM in this.

Nah. I don't hear any RATM either. The heavier tracks definitely reference traditional heavy metal, sludge and at times noise/math rock.
