This album is bloody AWFULL. Every song sounds the same. Theres no soul to this album The melodies are unaffecting. Overall its very very sterile.
The first album was like this too but was a bit catchier and felt like some uncomplicated bit of easy listening fun and with interesting hooks to every song. This is a mess.

How does every song sound the same? Take the 3 S's: Someday, Settle & Sun. They all sound very different to each other.
Your other points are indeed arguable, although I don't think they're being "lazy" at all.

This is, as stated by others, a rather predictable album, and the song-structures don't change a whole lot. But it's an enjoyable album, although I probably won't relisten to any of it very often. But still, it's deserving of a "3" for being a good album with danceable songs that'll be cool to hear live at this years Bilbao BBK Live.
