It's not as good. Some of the riffs/melodies could've sounded more powerful.
Like 6:40 in Convict all Flesh the rhythm guitar is too low in the mix.
And 3:40 in Phantoms the melody could've been much more powerful and aggressive, but it wasn't. Same
thing at 10:20 in the last track.
It's not a bad album by any means, but after I drooled over the S/T, this was pretty disappointing.
Luckily I still have Fell Voices and Skagos to look forward to. :-)

It did though. The riffs lost their power, and the bass drums sorta thump along awkwardly in many places. Lower production suited this band better because it made the tremelo notes merge together into a wall of angry noise. Now everything's clear and lacks the enveloping atmosphere.
Seriously, you're nit-picking to look like something your not.
Luckily I still have Fell Voices and Skagos to look forward to. :-)
