the whole TV Screen switcharoo headphone in Halo Dies always gets me...so does the guitar/piano solo at the end of Call to Awake

I think I did that once (and 4.5s)

I'm on "A Call to Awake" at the moment but whoa, Halo Dies was an amazing song. My favorite so far. I'm not to fond of the female singing though, I'll probably get used to them. This Message Edited On 07.07.08

i think youd like this band called Arkan. their new album Hilal is basically a prog death metal / melo death metal version of this album. its insane and the vocals are up their with Swano and Akerfeldt

Hmm, I think you posted that in melo-death or something. Someone made Akon joke

I didn't have time to check them out then but I will soon.

Music is mindblowing on this. This Message Edited On 07.07.08

I guess I shouldn't shrug it off, I think you mentioned In Mourning in there, and no one cared. Now its one of my fav albums, haha. I'll definitely check them out soon.

I actually checked them out but nothing really stuck, guess I'll have to get the full album and see if I feel any different.

I got the full version, I liked it quite a bit (3.5-4) but its not as good as this. It might grow on me though.

I would single handedly take this over Opeth's full discography any day. Fuck em, this album is truly brilliant.

Well I wouldn't go as far as saying this is better than Opeth's entire discography, but I think it's pretty brilliant.

EDIT: but I am thinking of dropping it to a 4.5This Message Edited On 09.10.08
