10 years has lost me as a fan with this album as they obviously have nothing new to talk about and they are regressing in the instrument department.

This is the best work they have done since Autumn and Division. Feeding was a bit of a let down but they have even stressed that it wasn't what they wanted to put out, but the record company wanted a certain product. Can't wait to see them on this tour.

You may be true about the best work since TAE and Division but this is nowhere near a 5 for me. A very generous 4 is enough.

Well, being a fan of 10 years my 5 rating may be exaggerated . But i don't get why people say "I'm not fan of them anymore". With so many big bands releasing shitty stuff this album is a masterpiece. Really, i listen to many bands, from hard rock to metal. And none of them released a good album like 10 years did with minus the machine.

Ok, i didn't really liked this album at first but after some replays, i started enjoying and loving every track.

Shedding their major label tag, Knoxville alt-metal outfit 10 Years look for a return to form on 6th LP 'Minus the Machine'. Attempting to rekindle the magic of acclaimed release 'The Autumn Effect', the intentionally raw production here brings back the quartet's trademark atmospheric moodiness. While this - along with the album being back-loaded - does lessen immediacy & accessibility, 10 Years still have a knack for performing ear-worm tunes. 'Minus the Machine' is a tough listen, with its constant stylistic changes meaning the LP lacks cohesion, yet always keeps you on your toes. Recommended Tracks: Tightrope, Battle Lust, Knives & Dancing With the Dead.

I may check this out eventually but I don't have high hopes since their last one was so boring.

Agree with Davey. It is their hardest record in terms of getting into. It took me some time to wrap my head around this.

this is a good recovery from Feeding the Wolves, goes back to what they do best. Minus the FTW album, I could listen to 10 years all day, with occasional songs from FTW in the playlist.

I think that's pretty obvious. I am sure even the band knows that.

This has grown from a very generous 4 to a very solid 4 if that makes sense.

Yeah I was once feeling a very lukewarm 2 on this, but now I'm feeling a very beefy and solid 2.
