i never try to analyze the guy's lyrics, i just like the image created by his words, much like the national

Probably his best work since "Labor Days." The beats are superb, and his delivery is as impressive, albeit difficult to grasp, as ever.

potsy I completely agree, that 'oh.' has always annoyed the hell out of me. Always. i was about to make a comment on that anyways, haha.

his flow.. is kinda stale at times. love the album though.

i dig the production, but his flow is kinda wack. he sounds like he's running out of breath on some of these tracks and it's really distracting. lyrics are amazing in some spots, cringe-worthy in others.

ahh werd, i love the production as well. i get your breath comment but i just always assumed he did it more for effect than lack of stamina. i don't think he has any cringe-worthy lines, compared to other artists, but he does have some wack subject matters. i was jk about the crazy tho, just a fanboy comment

Aes is as lyrically obscure and grand as ever. His flow on this reminds me of a mix between None Shall Pass and Float. Nice that the album is more consistent than his previous work. Great review. Great album.
