I definitely see the Three Cheers comparison as far as vocals go. I actually enjoyed this album a lot. Her voice does venture into generic territory but she never stays there for long. Everything else is solid.

Apparently they had a new one come out in 2015 and released a couple singles in 2018, but I haven’t heard any of it

Yeah I think I'd heard about the 2015 album, but there was also some intra-band tension and the bassist or drummer quit and the band went quiet after that. Add to the fact that they haven't put out anything as powerful as Weatherman since 2012 and that's a ton of wasted potential. :/
