You know everyone on this site hates rap, and you know they'll be out in force talkin s**t about all rap they can find. I can't really talk, I do the same thing to limp bizkit and simple plan. But look past that a bit. Fifty's rhymes overall are unoriginal, but rhyme for rhyme aren't terrible, and are in fact surprisingly good. Best songs are: In Da Club, Patiently Waiting, Life's on the Line, and If I Can't. The beats (although not 50's own) are also very good, and cover his rhyming shortcomings. Overall, a slightly above average rapper boosted to incredible fame by two of the most talented promoters on the planet. Fifty can't touch Eminem or Dr. Dre, but because of thier influence he manages to put together an album that's fun to listen to. And to whoever said black people suck: f**k you.

It was a silly joke dude, there aren't any racist on the site.....at least I think so.
| | | does 50 actually but effort into his music?
............Seriously though, does he?

All right, I kind of overreacted. Sorry. Byt seriously... that's not really funny at all. Mr. Fondler, I think he puts most of his effort into selling dope, and lets Dre and Em take care of his albums for the most part. I actually kind of like this album though.
| | | I find Fitty hilarious.
| | | Personally, I thought 'In da Club' was alright. Yeah, until every radio station and MTV played it 21039023193 times. Outside of that, I'm not impressed. Aside from the cliche lyrics, his beats are overly simplistic, and the sampling isn't impressive.
Actually, I don't even find his music entertaining (as opposed to Luda). Regardless, I'll rather listen to Heltah Skeltah, Boot Camp Clik, or Smiff and Wesson ANY day. Like any genre of music, there's good and bad. I choose the latter.

Come one, 50cent trully isn`t worth a 4. Dumbass lyrics, easy beats and I can go on like that. This just one big hype, made to earn money.

rap is so easy to make, and it's so over-rated....to prove this i shall now write a rap down as fast as possible in the next 60 seconds:
'X to da z, you know what i mean?
coz i'm da one with the mic on dis rap scene
and when i drop down, bullets in ma brain
gangsta tripping yo, i got shot again
coz im just a gangsta rapping and all that
and all my lines rule coz i cant rhyme
and 1 plus 6 minus 4 is 3
now everybody's ma homie, i'm so happy

it was a joke mate
| | | For one thing, the review incorrectly states that the album's last track does not feature rapping by 50, when, in actuality, the lyrical entirety of the song, aside from the hook, is done by 50. The reason that this might not seem to be the case is that the aforementioned track is a "Get Rich or Die Tryin" session track, and 50 did not use the slower, more deliberate flow indicative of most of the tracks recorded for "Get Rich or Die Tryin'". For another thing, those who are not capable of spelling the fcuikgn word attempting have no place, in my opinion, criticizing(yes, I am American)the mental capacity of performers of a genre of music concerning which they are likely very ignorant. I believe Country musicians, on the other hand, deserve to be subjected to a level of scrutiny and criticism that I do not give a siht enough to exact upon them; a very high percentage do not participate in the song writing aspect of "their" music, nor any other aspect aside from performance, which makes them puppets, who, definitely, in my opinion, deserve to be much more harshly criticized in this respect than do rap artists, the majority of whom actually write their own lyrics. Also, just in case anyone was considering using that ignoraqnt concerning a genre comment against me: I, unfortunately, am quite familiar with country music. Also, I am a rapper and am farther than somewhere between 99% and 100% of the world's human population from being mentally disabled.
