I understand what you're saying but this album feels like a bunch of random riffs thrown together for a flashy display with shitty production

all i hear is "i dont understand this and im not willing to put in the time to do so merrr so im gonna rate low" every single riff has a purpose. bryssling spent shit tons of time arranging the riffs in a very specific way. that is the most off-the-wall and generic claim ive ever seen somebody make about a tech-death album. please root your diminutions in gravity

SOP requires analyzing or else it will come across as a techy collection of riffs, but there is quite a bit of extensive theory being used throughout. if thats not your cup of tea, all's good. but album has so many nuances its ridiculous and thats what keeps me coming back for more.

this album is seriously amazing though. i am listening to it on a pretty decent audio setup as well. everything is pretty much flawless, the guitar tone is great, the vokills are great, and god damn i love that bass. who the fuck is that guy again? everything just super clear.

i also feel like the riffs are so great every song, some of 'em i feel like they're super catchy, but genius at the same time (without getting stale).

this riffs on this really, really do fuckin slay though. and the thing is, unlike tech death beforehand... its not just a few riffs over and over and then into something else, its just a collection of all these interesting riffs. idk, i love this album. these guys are super talented... and this album shows it.

fade you were too late for that you came when metal was dying but we kept it alive with metallica threads but it wasnt enough and soon the site was taken over by seananemone but we struck back and now he has fled and metal lives once more
