"I actually think this is better than The Joy of Motion. it is definitely more in interesting from a musical perspective."

Now that I have given this a shit-ton of listens, I might like this as much as TJOM. It's a grower, though it'll never touch the debut.

Indeed. This record made me lose some interest in the band for a while, but TJOM took care of that. After several years, I've learned to really appreciate what it has to offer. Some awesome moments here for sure.

its cyberpunk as hell. i think some people miss that this is a concept work. their most cohesive, groove-oriented, and atmospheric album to date.

Very underrated album. The jazzy vibes on songs like To Lead You To An Overwhelming Question rule hard.

oh yeah I've heard plenty of their stuff, but this one came on and I'm just like....sputnik probably likes this while hating on periphery, lulz

however this album in particular has a 3.6 which is actually right in line with periphery

Most of Periphery's music is just dumb chugging with weak leads though

And Tosin is a much better guitarist than Misha

"weak leads"

bigggg wrong. and even if he's better than Misha, Misha is still better than 75% of his peers I'd say

Hardly an achievement in one of metal's stalest scenes

The only good thing about Periphery is Sponce. The man has improved so much.

yeah he's insane but now you're straight up acting like there's nothing good about misha. he's a pretty incredible and versatile songwriter/guitarist. don't make me waste another entire friday defending this band....I'll do it, I fuckin will

yes, especially since he was the main reason people hated this band for so long lol

Never got the hate. Yeah, he was auto-tuned as fuck on the first record, but ignoring how much he improved later on is just plain silly.
