That's fine, i can see how it may not appeal to some fans of hardcore. I feel like they are trying to
convert their metalcore loving fanbase to a more hardcore style with this release

i am not listening to this album nearly as much as i would have guessed prior to its release.
they do everything right on it, but nothing jaw-dropping. which is why i guess i haven't gone back to
it too much. although jumping ship and the disconnect are phenomenal.

I might have to listen to this band. I was under the impression they were different than a song I heard of theirs today.

I'm upping this to a 4.5. The Constant is CRAZY good. Also, I have rarely seen a default review score so far off from the average score.

as much as i love this band, the lyrics on this suck. i can't tell if he's fucking happy or sad or what. i mean, brendan says "i fucking hate the world, i fucking hate myself" on the first track of the album, then he goes on to say "every day i face is my own heaven in the making" and "i couldn't be happier" and shit. come on.
