I think the instrumentation isint too bad on this album, but lou reed reads off his poems so awkwardly. it ruins the mood on most of the tracks. Metallica should've gotten someone different to write and sing the lyrics.

What, exactly, about Pumping Blood is "Avant-garde"? And if you're going to say Lars is playing a
