This is one band I always wanted to like, but never really could. Going to download and give it a listen. Hopefully it'll change my mind, because the guitarist solo work is breathtaking.

I dunno how can one NOT like this band, unless they're the first one that introduced you to deathcore aesthetics, which can be annoying. Oh, and the pig squeals. But it seems they ditched 'em from Awaken the Dreamers on.

Overall, this stuff reminds me heavily of The Black Dahlia Murder at times. It's basically them plus some breakdowns.

I can understand TBDM vibe. And I'm not sure what it is. I actually had no faults to the vocals (i.e
pig squeals). I suppose "The Price of Existence" came off bland and stagnant in
composition, and "Awaken the Dreamers" just to unfocused(?).

Not quite sure how I feel about this album still.

This is kind of one of those bands that I see this site have a like for, that I just can't get into.
Akin to, Glass Casket.

Well, I easily enjoy this above "The Price of Existence" & "Awaken the Dreamer". The vocals tire me a little, which is peculiar, as they were my favourite aspect of "The Price of Existence". But hey, this still warrants more listens before a rating.

This album is alright. A 3 for now, though, since it tends to get boring fast

And I'll never like pig squeals, as they remind me of all the shittiest stuff in deathcore. And slam death metal. Plus they sound terrible.

^No kidding. He definitely needs a band that showcases his talent more.

Some songs are good on this. They obviously have a better mindset than your typical deathcore band. Still, this is kinda boring in the long run.

Divine Illusion is my jam, has been for a long time. Such a cool song. And the sound of the guitars and drums is way better here than on tpoe
