Thing that should not be is obvsly
I mean Battery *is* a poor man's Fight Fire with Fire, but it's not terrible.

I'd say Battery is just as good as Fight Fire with Fire minus the solo, the solo on that song sends it to legendary status.

All their first 5 albums have good openers, although "Enter Sandman" is prob the least strong out of those.
FFWF > Battery > HtL > Blackened > ES

Good review and i'll agree: the riffs are uninventive and repetitve. Hetfield's voice is monotonous, he is absolutely not one of the greatest singers and the solo's are boring. And if you compare this album with the likes of Megadeth, Kreator, Exodus, Sepultura or Slayer? Sorry, but I think it's a very overrated album, though ok. Thx for the honest review.

Yeah. The kids back in the day with their instantaneous streaming and lack of creative youth culture thought so un'all.
