It's been awhile since I listened to this one, but I enjoyed it. Fat, funky and straight forward! Love me some Primus. I think this is their best since Pork Soda/Tales

Antipop is definitely their weakest, but I always loved Brown album. This was certainly a return to form though.

It gets some stick, but I love it. "Shake Hands With Beef" is undeniable.

Brown album is cool! It's been a long time since I've worked through their discography gotta do it again. 'Over The Falls' and 'Shake Shakes Hands With Beef' never forget those. Have you guys checked out Les' side projects? Pretty sweet stuff if you're feeling adventurous

Usually comeback albums are embarrassing but Primus did a lot right on this

Yeah, I'm not that big on les' solo stuff, really, Jeff. I thought his collaboration project with John Lennon's son would have been great and that was pretty average as well.

That's how I felt about it too; was expecting more from that collaboration. I remember em' releasing 'Cricket and The Genie' as a single first.. thought it was cool, but the album as a whole was pretty dang boring albeit not my cup of tea was hoping for something wackier for lack of a better word. I'm not sold on everything les' does, but I really enjoyed the Buckethead & Brain LP/Frog Brigade stuff
All it ever really does is make me want another Primus release though! ha-ha

Tragedy's a'Comin is just The Ballad of Bodacious for newcoming fans.

But it's actually better though

It might be my least favorite track on this album. "Tragedy's A'Comin" is the tune I always go back to here.

The album is just as good as their 1990-1995 stuff

I feel like this album's average is slightly low

Should be like a 3.8 or so
