I just stumbled back on it myself today looking through some old records I listened to early on in College.

Not really dug Frightened Rabbit's output much since they dropped this record, but the new track is gorgeous.

^If you haven't checked out Owl John you should, then - it's Hutchinson's side project.
Wasn't aware of a new FR track but will find it.

Actually caught him playing live under the Owl John moniker a few years back supporting NMH in Edinburgh. Can't remember much apart from numerous Frightened Rabbit covers and Scott trying his absolute hardest to hide his exhilaration about opening for a group whose name he has tattooed on his wrist
Only released into cyberspace very recently but enjoy - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYLZrCuhu_0

It's amazing, right?! Totally blew me away first listen, especially coming from a band I've found to be increasingly underwhelming.

"The new stuff sounds sparser, it's less guitar driven," frontman Scott 'Owl John Hutchison exclusively told Gigwise last year. "Potentially darker as well, but we'll wait and see. The way that it's coming together, I don't know how it's going to sound until the last day."
if what hes saying is true this could end up being my favorite FR album.
and yes, that song was fucking gorgeous.

agreed, Organ Fight has the highest rating from me, the other two after this are at 3.5. which is a shame cause i feel like these guys have at least a 4.5 album in them. hopefully this next one will be it.

That was my initial rating as well until songs like Good Arms started growing on me and I had a nasty break-up. Was only going to become a 5 after that
