it's a good album; not the best one, but definetely not a bad one.

I feel like this album has moments of brilliance, like Even You Brutus?, Flea's trumpet part in "Did I Let You Know", the chorus of "Monarchy of Roses". But then there are just moments where I get frustrated, especially with Anthony.

Bad summary is bad.

Hated this album the first time I listened to it but hated it a little less when I listened to it for the second time. I will give it a few more listens until it grows on me as I feel it is a grower. Well that is one of the privileges that I give my favorite bands.

It's a mood album for me, but I like it as long as I'm in the mood for it that is.

Agreed. He pretty much saved this album, and his backing vocals are brilliant. I kinda like his style too.

I agree with you guys- the parts where he leads the band are great. i personally love what he does with the ending of Raindance Maggie; it's hard to notice initially, but great.

I understand what they meant, though; with a guitarist that had a more eclectic taste (i.e. Dave Navarro), they could have gone to a much worse place musically. We got lucky with Sir Klinghoffer.

Definitely a very good album in my opinion - pretty much love every track minus the last two!
