This has a shit ton of umph.

as much as it may do, it's not comparable, as i said, to rato triste and the like. im pretty sure this isnt the first time you've tried to disagree with me about corrupted, and it won't be the first time i'll tell you to go away and actually listen to the band extensively before trying to negate someone else's opinion

Is it best to just go in order with checking the rest of their stuff out?

if you're not into sludge i'd suggest listening to the LPs first and the later EPs (island insane, vasana) before taking on their pre-2000 material

I really liked El Mundo Frio

but as it goes with this type of music the first album I was really into set a benchmark i'll probably be forever comparing other albums to

I'm more than aware of that, I just mostly use Sputnik as a reference and I always take forever to dig deeper in a band's discography because I end up finding new bands/music in the process and go in another direction before coming back.

I personally like Se Hace and Paso Inferior the most

PI is often underrated, it's probably their darkest record

Gekkou No Daichi is amazing. but i'm not going to lie, 30 minute tracks can be sort of a daunting task

"the depravity we heard on rato triste seems to be absent here"

Listened to this a lot today and it's definitely a solid 4 and could possibly go up with even more listens. Comfortable with this rating for right now though.
