^ where in comparison to Foxblood, I prefer his "glam"/rock (god I hate glam) stuff then the
atmospheric Berlin trilogy followed by the 80's stuff then into his 90's and 00's. But I like it all
on one level or another. He just has a few random mis-fires you can skip over but the vast majority of
his discog is noteworthy imo.

yeah, my preferences are a bit different than most peoples i suppose, his glam stuff is by far his most well known and loved. but to me his berlin years best represent him as an artist at his creative peak, since he kicked his addiction and retired his outrageous personas. the middle of his career feels the most "bowie" to me. and i love his 80's stuff just because it's the first bowie i ever got into and it's nostalgic. but like you said, pretty much every album is an important part of his story/carrer, even the misteps
how are you guys expecting the new album to go? i'm anticipating an optimistic 4.5

yeah looking forward to hearing his 80s stuff too, only heard a couple o songs but let's dance and modern love are tasty jams
not sure what to expect from his new one considering I haven't listened past late 70s stuff yet but cautiously optimistic too
it's not like he's a struggling has-been who still pumps out albums for cash (like KISS etc) so I'd like to think he is releasing something because he believes in it and thinks it's worth releasing

wait until you hear scary monsters, ashes to ashes and teenage wildlife are easily some of his best tracks
i'm pretty confident that his new album will be excellent since yeah, he's been working on it for years on and off in secret, taking his time. plus the single was really good

gun to my head lol. yeah sit's weird how good the song is even though it's short as hell and doesn't have vocals until after half way through. them doo doos and sax go so hard omg
