Ok so like, I don't follow this band at all... but what is the deal with all the hate surrounding Meg White?

She's just not the best drummer, more noticeably on their first couple albums

that's one of their best songs ever, really shows their ambition, as well as their ability to stretch out catchy tunes to great lengths.

Never really got the praise for this, even if it definitely has some catchy tunes to offer. But Ball and Biscuit is a never ending guitar story (much like the album on the whole is) without anything apart from - what a surprise - a narcissistic guitarist. Maybe that's what rock 'n' roll is supposed to be, but hearing him abuse those six strings for over seven minutes in every way he can think of sure doesn't do much for me.

there is no mindless noodling on this at all, its all groovy as hell
