Mix sounded fantastic as-was, I can't really hear any difference on the remastered bandcamp stream.

Hopefully the drums are louder in the new mix. I was just listening to this earlier today.

these guys just sound like Agalloch clones. the music is pretty enjoyable but idk if i want to invest time in listening to their discography if thats the case. is that all they are or is more revealed with a full listen?

"is more revealed with a full listen?" Not for me bro. I've listened to this album 3 or 4 times through and what you see is what you get IMO.

nah i think falls have a very distinct approach, idk their acoustics and stuff dont even remotely remind me of agalloch. jammed both today for comparison too just to see if i had just overlooked it

sure, their riffing style might be a bit different, but its still the same kind of melodic slower paced metal with black metal vocals and acoustic passages.

anyways, now that Agalloch are done i need someone to fill the void, and i think this band will do.

the new falls of rauros album is more similar to it than this one I suppose, but I think they're extremely similar at times. the vocals remind me of believe in no coming shore almost constantly on that new wildernessking

I'll check that album out you mentioned too though!
