Scary Monsters is a back to glam album? Weird, I only know "Ashes to Ashes" and the t/t from it.
Also HD > Ziggy > TMWSTW > AS > DD
^How I would put it.

no way, it's the last of his art-rock albums. You should listen to it right now tbh, but knowing you I'll be seeing a 3.5 and will be trying to convince you to jam it again lel

I wanna listen to "Heroes" and Lodger first. I'm sort of going in order and have heard everything from his debut-Low.

heroes is the best thing ever, and i don't even have it 5'ed - same with station to station actually

Well I originally went out of order by starting with Ziggy, then Hunky, then Young, but after that I went back the debut and
worked my way up.
So far Station to Station is an unchallenged favorite and a classic as hell 5. I wish Low lived up to it's reputation a little
more, but it's a 4 for now...

nice, prepare for some legit disappointment with Tonight and NLMD. The former has Loving the Alien, the latter has a decent song in Glass Spider. Black Tie White Noise is very underrated imo, but the production is pretty dated. Outside is somewhat industrial/electronic, Earthling is flat out Drum and Bass electronica stuff (pretty underrated). Hours is downtempo electronic inspired stuff, but pretty weak. Heathen is the fucking tits though, Reality is somewhat straightforward rock music, but has one of his best tracks in "Bring Me The Disco King". The Next Day: see "Heathen".

low is his best in my world, but it took a couple of spins to manifest

The first half of Low has a couple of tracks that I don't really love. Specifically "What in the World" and "A New Career in a
New Town."
On the other hand, Station to Station has 6 tracks that are all amazing... well sometimes "Stay" overstays its welcome (no
pun intended) but other than that, it's perfection.

"eight line poem is kinda weak imo"
Agreed, but not enough to make this a 4.5.
Maybe a 4.8 or so... which still rounds to a 5.

not great but i see it as being kinda a lead in to Life On Mars. which utterly rules.
weakest track is Fill Your Heart. and Song For Bob Dylan ain't much cop but the rest is perfect.

Didn't say it was the only weak song, but nice to see that you have embraced the objectivity of ratings, that only yesterday you thought elitist, gj boy
