I wouldn't say this is a bad album, but i definately prefere their previous efforts.

I get the stuff about vocals you said... in deathcore bands many vocalists try to emit the lowest growl possible, like Marie-Helene Landry from the first Despised Icon album or the pretty boy singer of Glass Casket. Too bad that such low growls have no power nor aggression at all, well who cares.

Glass Casket is good indeed, but Despised Icon is decent at best. And for me that's only their final album since I'm not a pig squeal kind of guy.

Ok, I admit the first time I listened to these guys I was like "could you be any more shitty?!" but now I'm gonna see them in Ressurection Fest 2012 and will be *attempting* to learn some of the lyrics to shout along, purely for fun.

Why do they feel the need to constantly layer his vocals?

No time to bleed is worse, the cover of them bones is one of the worst AIC covers seen by the human mankind.

At least the lyrics of you only live once and fuck everything serves make me laugh and can be used in a comedy program

I just listened to the song YOLO on youtube and it's not that pathetic. Much more listenable than "the price of beauty" definitely. Also a big surprise - like all of those guys except the vocalist have long hair and even beards. They look like real metalheads. Too bad this shithead punk of a vocalist sucks at screamo and lyric writing so bad. But I've expected much, much worse

When I first listened to Slaves to Substance I thought it was really badass. Definitely more nuanced
than most metalcore (except for the bottom string chugging which seems prominent with a lot of bands).
I'm new to the whole Deathcore thing, so maybe it is just the style I'm not used to. The low guitar
tuning compared to metalcore is surprisingly pleasing.

I don't listen to death core, so most of what I heard was new to me. I will listen to other tracks on
the album.

And how do you guys keep finding me? Is there a show recent comments section that allows you to track
me down?

So it does turn out the first song was the best after listening to the rest. I think the band is good,
though there is a lot of bottom string use.

I really want to put your head through a plate glass window.

You have to admit they have some good ideas. They fall back to some boring cliches a bit too often
though.

Only a retarded person would say that.
