Gave her another listen... it still slams. This is the pile-driver of their albums. It's not as expansive as Odyssey, V, or Divine Wings, but I don't think it was meant to be. Iconoclast is just an ass-kicking Metal album.

Yeah Romeo wants the world to know he's a riff machine, as does JP. They were composing much more mature and dynamic music when they were younger, you'd expect them to incline towards metal during their earlier years, midlife crisis perhaps?

You see Russell started the "Adrenaline Mob," which seems like he's trying to get a testosterone boost. I've only heard a song from that outfit, and it's not quite my schtick.

Goddamnit, I'm diggin' this more and more. It has some of the sickest guitar work I've heard... along with some of the best choruses SX has done. This isn't your standard Metal album simply trying to show how much
hair is on its metal nuts. This is exceptionally executed.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
