Yeah, I guess they're a bit of a guilty pleasure. I prefer Supermodel though.

"Indie" doesn't have a distinct definition, but I find it pretty easy to classify this album as Indie-Pop, which bands like Grouplove and Walk The Moon would also fall under.

Moriendi, if I absolutely love this, will I like Supermodel too?

Using the term indie as a genre just pisses me off, but then this band uses it as their moniker and it rules.

@KriegdemKriege: Supermodel is more true to alternative rock and less electronic, so if you like alt. rock, certainly.

Hmm...

I really like the electronic elements on this album. Is it still über-catchy?

not quite as memorable though, it's good, but it doesn't stay with you as long as this does

I actually sort of disagree. I was extremely iffy about Torches for a year or so, and then Supermodel came around and re-sparked my interest in them.

Returning to this album way after it dropped. Pumped Up Kids, Call it What You Want, I Would Do Anything For You, Life on the Nickel, and Miss You are all fantastic tracks. My main issue with this album is that they have these really fucking weird intros for most of the songs that then don't return. They're just harsh sounding attention grabbers.

"Outrun Michael"
"Faster than Mike Bullock"

Kid in my school called Mike Bullock did the 100m sprint so we changed the lyrics to the above
