Oh no, rape is so controversial! No rapper with a white fanbase ever rapped about rape and then was on top of the pop charts.

did you even read the review

yeah. only ones i don't really like are transylvania and radicals

also, to people saying this is too long, listen to certain biggie and 2pac albums from the 90s...way longer. and this is diverse enough to stay interesting

I wanted to dislike this album. The buzz around it, the misogyny, the graphic violence, it all sounded like something I had heard it before. I was wrong. This album is a hilarious combination of self-aware bravery and demented posturing and Tyler knows it. I don't agree with the reviews assertion that we should take Tyler seriously. His words, maybe. Their meanings, no. “Kill People! Burn Shit! Fuck School!” is just as hilarious as it is juvenile. This album is Lars von Trier directing a Samuel Beckett play, it's fucking awesome. Some of the songs divulge into self-indulgence especially in their length and that's a big problem for me. Tyler, come on, who doesn't have ADD?

I'm still going back and forth on this album, I've basically settled on the fact that I only really dig it when I'm in the right mood (tracks like Yonkers, Tron Cat and Golden not withstanding).

I can't help but escape the feeling that half the time I like this it's because I'm borderline forcing myself to... which is also the vibe I get from this review (no offense intended, because it is a really good review).

I like ending sentences in parentheses.
