I'm asking the same thing about 1.5, how the hell can it be a 1.5? That's just as good of a question as asking how it can be a 5.



For the record, as I said earlier, I would give it a 3.5 or a 4, but I want other people to actually check it out, so I'm pushing the rating up. No one's going to check my individual rating out but hopefully it helps the rating as a whole.



It's not an album to not check out at all, and some people just seem to believe what the reviewer says and aren't even going to check it out at all, which is pretty pointless.

But I seriously don't think anyone is going to check it out just because some new user, out of nowhere, gives it a 5.

Everyone knows death metal sucks, even the people that listen to it, but they have to be "different" so they continue listening to something that the majority of people are never going to properly get into.

I love it how these fanboys always ran out of arguments (if they had any good ones in the first place, that is) and then bring up something totally irrelevant to rant about, through what they vaguely try to justify their view on the matter at hand, which really makes no sense to be honest.

I've moved beyond my 14-15 year old pop punk addiction, largely in part to this site. My taste has matured immensely as a result of reading about what is good and what is not on here, but I gotta say this still does it for me. Its a little edgier/darker than Underclass which is enough for me. I don't go to these guys looking for them to reinvent music, I just want some simple, easily absorbed punkish-pop-rock to drive to. This is far from their best but nowhere near as bad or plagiarized as you are making it out to be. I'll probably throw up a review of my own, just to have a dissenting opinion, even if it doesn't get read.

Smart user with solid grounds for honest disagreement - some people just like music for shits. Well said; all power to you mate.

I do hope that you write your review. At the very least it'll show people like Tyler how to use them brains.

review is well-written from a technical standpoint, but its content isn't all there. i guarantee if this was produced by any other band than sum 41, it'd get more than a 1.5, but it seems like the fact that they're sum 41 alone skews the reviewer's score.

No. my problem with this is not the band that made it, but the tactics they made it with, like much of their other work. If another band made this album and had similar problems of stagnating and plagiarizing songs, you bet it would still get a 1.5 or even a 1

People who aren't in middle school up to high school, won't like this band. Its geared towards that time of life when you
feel out of control with your life because you don't have much control over anything you do because you're young. Got
all that teen angst, which is why these bands are popular.
