Sometimes A Succubus in Rapture get's annoying, i'd go with Stormblast, but only by a very small margin.

I don't think you can pick one favorite song off this album, if you listen to all of them you should realize every single song on this album is absolutely fantastic in almost every way.

They are all really good. It's just some are better than others.

I think it's a great album as a whole but the best songs seem to be right at the beginning. They should have arranged them differently to keep the album fresh when listening straight through it.

Eh I don't know if all of the great songs are right at the beginning. They're pretty spread out for me.

IMO they're clustered at the beginning and end. Tracks 4-6 are kind of a drag.

No man Tormentor of Christian Souls is one of the best here and The Night Masquerade is really good too.

This is definitely the best Dimmu album for me. Everything here is so solid. There are no bad songs. This is when they were actually black metal. Although I usually tend to listen to mostly raw stuff when it comes to black metal this album will always hold a special place for me. And Spellbound, Tormentor of Christian Souls and Mourning Palace are epic!

Listening to this now. Haven't listened to any Dimmu in a pretty long time. Feels good man. Mourning Palace is still the greatest song this band will ever make.

I still don't understand why people praise this so much and still hate on abrahabra.
I mean, I listened to the first 5 songs and the only parts I liked where some moments (whole minutes to be precise) from in death's embrace and mourning palace.

"couldn't even make it through. it bored the shit out of me."
This. It's just generic gay "black" metal.

At least abrahadabra has some catchy as fuckcunt parts.Especially the symphonics are very good.

You expect a black metal band to not make black metal? What kind of logic is that?

There's no point in comparing the two because they're not the same at all.

The first time I listened this album I was 13 years old, I loved it, it was so dark and eerie. Today I continue to find it superb. This is one of the classic albums of black metal.
