And bloc and Deviant, I think a 3 means it is good, you enjoy it while you're listening, but the lasting value is not there. Personally, what you're describing bloc sounds more like a 2.5. I feel like a lot ofpost-hardcore scene albums are often average b/c they have a couple solid songs, but then are forgettable after that.

No, you don't understand. It is my civic duty to harass young Bloc

I'm truly loving this. Better than Hours and definitely on par with Casually... even though I need to re-listen to that soon

You can even tell from these comments that this album is a real grower. Like (I think) I've said previously, I was surprised that so many people liked this album so much immediately.

Would have been on repeat for me too, had it not been released on the same day as new Rise Against.

I'm surprised the yellowcard album in getting more hype than this.

Unsure I'd compare them though... Fairly different.

And I do think that FFAF did lose many fans with their last 2 albums, where-as there is always hype associated with a reformed act.

I agree. I always thought that the best comparison would be with Story of the Year (another good band).

Plus, hype is a funny thing. It's best ignored tbh.

This album's still growing on me, hugely pleasant surprise.

Although I think a combination of FFaF's guitarist, Yellowcard's drummer and Rise Against's bassist would make one helluva supergroup...

Ohh yeah, you're on to something there. We would need a singer too. Those 3 could probably make my voice sound good though.

Yeah, those 3 would probably make Casablancas sound half-decent too.

Lol GTFO.

What I mean to say is "Julian Casablancas has more talent than the other three put together" or "I respectfully disagree with that comment Davey old boy".

You know, just because his initials are JC, doesn't mean you have to worship him.

JC? Sorry it's late, what is the significance of those initials. I' assuming it's football related and I'm being a fool but idk.
