I agree this narrative has gotten tired after this album, and that a lot of the lyrics were basically re-tread; all I was trying to say is I appreciate the efforts of bands to incorporate substance beneath the surface layer.

It doesn't matter how much artistic effort you put in, if all you produce is a war-themed soap opera, that you then indulge for three records. It was cheesy to begin with, now it's embarrassing.
