I can see how a few people might not get what some of us like so much about the album but the group absolutely has a distinctive sound which on it's own should bring it above a 2.5. They get most of their promo from the Christian charts which imo is unfortunate because it pigeon holes them into a category they could easily not fall into. It's great indie pop and a really good album. I don't understand giving it under a 3 unless this simply isn't your genre of music. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go low ball your crappy Titus Andronicus and Defeater albums to make this fair.

yeah this is sounding like a 3-3.5 to me. Yeah its cool they have a good female vocalist and the music is pretty at points... but these guys arnt really doing anything revolutionary or classic.

This is quite average. Can't be more than 3,5.
Why can't it? Would it ruin your fantasy that your opinions dictate all others?

This is always my favorite reasoning. If someinthing isn't revolutionary or unique then it can't be rated high? Who said?

You just have to expect that any album getting positive attention will inevitably have someone that most likely knows nothing about the band/genre posting stupid shit.

Because BTBAM fans seem to be very sensitive and are also prone to making negative comments about other bands -- usually bitching about how unoriginal they are.

How was my comment stupid? It was just my personal opinion. I think the album is horrible. I will give you that I don't know much about the band but an album is suppose to intrigue you and make you find out more about the band. This album just made me think about how cliche simple it was.
