quite similar to EiF. just feel that this album has more melodic progressive layers than EiF and the drumming is just outstanding.

it's just a refinement and progression of the previous album's sound, there's nothing wrong with that.
And that's what I've been trying to say, I don't like the word 'different' in this case, progression is the more appropriate term.

Don't really see a huge difference myself. Doesn't make it any less awesome.

little nitpicky thing: the "it's" in the last paragraph shouldn't have an apostrophe

Thanks for pointing that out, I make that mistake far too often in my writing.

I could swear the album is one big track divided in 6 other tracks, as it is the same thing from minute 1' to minute 42'. The last track is awesome, though.

you don't hear the similarities?
|
| |
Nah man they sound more like Koenjihyakkei

There has been words going around in other media sources that Ulcerate sounds like DSO playing death
metal (perhaps due to its atmospheric and dissonant qualities) so that's where he's probably coming
from.
But yeah, as with everyone else, i think that they don't sound similar at all.
|
| |
Yeah I agree with that.

The dense atmosphere is really the only similarity that I could see.
