I'm not really sure how much the band members care about their classification in music or about experimentation or those sorts of things, which really means that a lot of music reviewers, especially those looking for variety and unique styles to every album, whatever they put out just won't cut it.
Encapsulated in "Your Hand in Mine" for me is a mountain of things that keep growing. Within it is time spent with a best friend; we used to play the song together, until the day when we did not and were no longer best friends. Within it is trips alone to rooftops, not on a devious escape with friends but a way to quietly and tenderly face freezing cold ladders and more of the night sky than one might catch elsewhere in a city. It does not transport me somewhere else or conjure up images, but rather impressions of emotions past....and perhaps to come.

not really, but i havent properly revisited it, just a song or two on random occasions. also, like i said somewhere in the comments, the "2" rating is just me being dramatic, this realistically is in the 2.5-3 range for me. its not "poor", it just does absolutely nothing for me. so no, i still agree with everything in the review
