Common Man's has a lot of similarities with the first BOO album (same producer especially) but even that stopped me from enjoying it.

The vocals on [id] are so weird, they don't sound like Brandon at all, and Marc said the producer straight up mixed out his mid range vocals because "they don't want that".
I like Common Man's Collapse more just because of how badass Brandon's vocals sound tbh. Stoked on the new album though.

See Codex's music is alright, but I'm not really enjoying the vocals at all. The same goes for All Things Set Aside but because that song is much older, it's harder for me to get into that lower production quality.

The old vocalist kinda sucked tbh. And [id] focused mostly on chord structure and technicality. Compare that to TCMC where it just seemed like let's piece riffs together and call it a song. [id] is more cohesive to me.
