The only thing that bothers me about this album is the lack of bass in the mix.

yea they sound like they have some effect on them, also some of the vocal melodies are pretty bad and the fact that he overdubs like 3 different vocal parts over each other can get annoying sometimes
and the bass too

Carlos D didn't even want to record this album, I think that might explain the bass.
