Summer '68 is hands down my favourite from this, and one of Floyd's best overall, I think

Everything on here is cool except maybe "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast"
"Summer '68" is so great that it makes me sad that Richard Wright doesn't sing on any album after Dark Side of the Moon.

In my opinion this is their best work so far. It still has that experimental and psychedelic that departures member Syd Barrett brought them, along with their classic prog rock sound. It is extremely haunting and is just amazing and trippy.

And so Floyd fans are split on what the proper rating is for this album.

i probably overrate this a bit but the high points on the album are among floyd's finest moments
plus the album art's one of the best ever. this would probably make my top 5 floyd records. hard to explain why exactly

Good album. "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast" is a waste of time though, and "If" is kind of boring.
t/t, "Summer '68", and "Fat Old Sun" all rule though.

i could definitely live without psych breakfast (it's just kind of an aimless mess tbh) but everything else fits. If and the t/t are probably my favourites.
