I mean, From a Basement on the Hill sounded like a goodbye to me. It was something he sang about a lot. Plus, he stabbed himself in the heart. If there ever was an aching heart, it was his.

i don't want to believe it, especially with all the inconclusive evidence etc

like he had a history of self harm but stabbing yourself twice in the chest is something else entirely

I never understood how they couldn't prove it one way or another

I mean if he died of stab wounds, shouldn't they be able to determine if they were self-inflicted or not?
