I'm a bit worried that new Burial won't be able to top this, even though I initially thought it could easily do so.

i consider this a more diluted version of the faceless, which i like alot, it doesnt have to be all technical fast-paced music. deff a great album, the heavy parts are heavy and the softer portions are soft making it a great cd to chill with. the musical styles also are superb. great review and great album, and to call them deathcore is very simple, i consider them technical death metal, but have deathcore influences, still a great band.

Start!

I wish there were more clean/soft parts on this, because the heavy chugging gets repetitive after a while.

New Burial should easily tie with this, if not surpass.

Bloc I agree, I've been son pumped for the new cd and sorta looked at this as an album that would hold me over, now im beginning to think I'll like this more.

Slow tempo and space themes != more diluted the facelss.

Not a single hardcore part the whole album through, rethink this post kthxbai.

I just upped my rating on this. It's grown onto me so much over the course of one month. The whole concept is fantastic and the time signatures are just... wow. One of my top 5 for the year, seriously.

This is kind of like that Periphery album, I can listen to it at first but then I need to take a break from it.
