Takk is all about the climaxes whereas this focuses more on creating soundscapes and atmosphere. Both great records.
Can't link because I'm on my phone, but check out the Japan 2003 version of Vaka on YouTube, his vocals at around 6 minutes in are honestly the best I've ever heard. Absolutely spine tingling.
