I'm more partial to listening to the dead live albums. I saw em a few times before jerry died those dancing bears what a trip...If I had to choose studio it's this or workingman for me, classic stuff right here.

dude a couple weeks ago subscribed for the Daves picks series for the 2017 year, really psyched to get them, 4 great shows, never was able to purchuse them before all sold out within 24 hours, so I said F it, buying them all at once

not completely true, much of 69, 76, 91 followed the same template, but had 10-15 songs for each slot in the show, so each different that way, and they were very moody, Garcias mood drove the show which is why 82-84 87-88 were very slow and sleepy, but when he was hot, they could crush the world

no 2 shows alike wham....even if the difference was 20 seconds of improvisation between 2 of em.....something Jerry stood by and the band mentions this on numerous occasions.....regardless if the setlist was the same

It's crazy they're still doing the series. It's been forever since I heard one, I may have to dive in that again for old times sake. I have 4,8, and 10. Most days I find myself listening to Sunshine Daydream.. awesome

I have about 25 of the dicks picks and most of the other concert series's they have put out, but only have 1 Daves pick, feb14, 68 one hell of a great show, had it on boot before it was official, too hard to get the Daves, but am getting all 4 this year, hope they are good, first one is from 73 at the Boston Garden, they rest are still being thought about
